Our History

In June 2015, Annie Cruz and Aileen Cruz established Cruz Benefits Consultants, a company that offers benefit solutions to our Guam island community. In order to give our clients access to a wider portfolio of benefits, we expanded both our business and our carrier partnerships in June 2018. Since then, we have continuously sought to expand our portfolio further and provide the best solutions to our customers.

Team Members

Aileen Cruz

President & General Manager

Aileen returned to Guam in 2007, and joined the insurance industry in 2008 as a benefits consultant with American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus, GA (AFLAC). In 2012, Aileen advanced her career as an Aflac District Sales Coordinator. To help lead the Aflac Guam sales field force, she became the Aflac Guam Regional Sales Coordinator in 2015. She wanted to develop a professional team of benefits consultants and to ensure that families have the protection that they need.

In 2018, she stepped down from her leadership role with Aflac but continues to be a managing partner for Cruz Benefits Consultants. She continues to work in the insurance industry representing John Hancock, Midland National Life, Pacific Guardian Life, National Western, and Transamerica.

Annie was a stay-at home mom before joining the insurance industry in 1991. She saw the insurance industry as a career opportunity to grow as a professional, and build her business.

She began her career as an independent benefits consultant with American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus, GA (AFLAC). Under Aflac, she advanced her career as a District Sales Coordinator in 2000, and later became the Regional Sales Coordinator in 2004. She led the Aflac Guam sales field force for 11 years, when she stepped down from her leadership role.

In 2015, she founded Cruz Benefits Consultants. She continues to work in the insurance industry to help give families protection that they need representing John Hancock, Midland National Life, and Transamerica.
